Ingredients: 1 cup Sadaf split pea, soaked overnight and drained 6 cups chicken stock Salt and pepper, to taste 1/3 cup Sadaf crisped fried onion 1/2 cup bread croutons Directions: In a large pot, combine the soaked and drained split peas with the chicken stock. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and let the split peas simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until they are tender. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Use a blender or immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth. Return the soup to the pot and stir in the fried onions. Heat through and serve with bread croutons on top.
